My name is Jessyca 

Hi! I am a physician assistant turned passionate sourdough baker.  After 15 years working in emergency medicine and urgent care, life at home with my two boys sparked a new love: baking bread. 

It all started when I bought my husband a bread machine for christmas-and we haven't bought store-bought bread since. My fascination with sourdough grew from there, blending my love of science with the art of slow, mindful baking.

What began as a family tradition, has become something i'm excited to share with others.  Sourdough can seem full of stiff rules, but as I have learned, it's a forgiving and rewarding craft-one that brings warmth, patience, and connection with every loaf.

I do still work full time as a physician assistant, care for my 2 boys, and of course my dog. He enjoys the crumbs too.
